Process all criminal/traffic expungement filings through MDEC/Odyssey. After the order is granted file must be retained in a secured locked cabinet. All over the counter filings must be located and placed in the file. Case must be sealed within 60 days of the order and expunged from case system. Assisting customers by telephone or in person with expungement information.
High School Diploma or GED
At least one (1) year of work experience, preferably in court operations, or in the fields of criminal justice, parole and probation, legal or financial services.
Knowledge of court proceedings, rules, regulations, court and legal terminology.
A Bachelor’s Degree may substitute for the year of work experience. A Paralegal/Associates Degree or 60 college credits may substitute the required year of work experience. A Paralegal Certificate may substitute for the required one year of work experience.
General clerical experience with keyboard and computer skills. Good communication skills as well as research and problem solving skills.
