Experis - Chandler, AZ (30+ days ago)3.6

Experis is partnering with our client to identify a talented Analog IC Design Engineer.

The successful candidate will apply their analog IC design experience to develop analog modules for Car
Access products in multiple process technologies. The candidate will design (to name a few) ADC's,DAC's, bandgap references, oscillators, PLL's, amplifiers and voltage regulators. Low power, area
sensitive, CMOS design techniques are emphasized. Essential Functions include but are not limited to:

Contribute to a team of designers in designing low power, area constrained, analog modules for Car Access products
Mentor and guide less experienced team members
Supervise Layout engineers remotely
Interact with Architecture team to assist with module definition as required
Interact with Product and Test team to address issues found during validation or production
Design and validate analog modules and sub-systems (hands-on in the lab)
Present training on topics of interest

Job Requirements
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years of analog IC design preferred. Bachelor's degree
in Electrical Engineering with outstanding experience may also be considered
Proven track record that demonstrates a thorough understanding of the trade-offs involved in design
and layout of analog macros in an area and power constrained environment
Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Must be able to effectively write concise technical documentation
Must have extensive knowledge of low power analog design and a significant understanding of how
custom analog integrated circuits are used in end customer applications
Must have experience in CMOS, low power analog design, particularly in custom/semi-custom design
Must be capable of evaluating multiple topologies/architectures to fit function and contribute topractical trade-off decisions within the team
Should be able to oversee design and layout of complex analog circuitry
Ability to demonstrate all aspects of circuit needs in thorough design reviews
Must be able to understand the greater system, not just the component currently being designed, in order to address potential system level impacts early in the design process
Must be able to function in a fast paced engineering environment that is simultaneously responsible for
new analog circuit design and addressing bugs/weaknesses on existing circuits
