YPS Anesthesia is looking for an independent, team oriented CRNA to join its staff at Beauregard Memorial Hospital in Deridder, LA. The anesthesia team is composed of 3 CRNAs to provide 2 sites of service daily. This model allows CRNAs to enjoy 17 weeks off a year. The providers also share a rotating call schedule. Call is not required to be in house, just within 30 minutes from the hospital. Many workdays end early, and call is very light. CRNAs can utilize full scope of practice at this facility.
Typical Cases are Orthopedic, GYN, GI, Urology and General Surgery. No CV, Vascular, or Neuro cases at this facility. CRNAs need to be proficient in epidurals and spinals. Peripheral nerve block competency is preferred but not required. YPS would be willing to train candidates that don’t feel comfortable with any of the required skills.
CRNA compensation is $275,000.00/year 1099 with 17 weeks off. YPS has many opportunities for extra income if providers want to work during any time off. This gives staff the flexibility to balance work and leisure. Malpractice insurance is covered by YPS Anesthesia.
