The Mental Health Worker is a nursing caregiver who functions under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. The Mental Health Worker provides patient care in accordance with each patient's individualized plan of care, unit standards and guidelines, and hospital policies and procedures.
High School Diploma, GED or foreign equivalent
1 year of experience
CPR/BLS certification (Issued by American Heart Association)
At least 1 year experience working in a psych program, schools, residential day treatment centers, etc.; Time spent in mental health internships will be considered
3 years of experience
