CACI is searching for a part time FEDSIM Proposal Writer, Staffing to join our high-performing proposal team in Reston and Chantilly, VA. What You’ll Get to Do:
Provide work leadership as a proposal section lead.
Write clear, persuasive, compliant, and compelling proposal sections for staffing to all FEDSIM Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements.
Collaborate with colleagues, including writers and Capture, Proposal, and Program Managers, to clearly define and articulate CACI’s solution and strategy, win themes, and discriminators.
Research, organize, write, edit, and produce technical data for major proposals, including White Papers and Requests for Information (RFIs).
Organize material and write descriptive copy according to standards for order, clarity, conciseness, style, terminology, and one voice.
Conduct research on subject matter by interviewing program managers and other subject matter experts, attending meetings, and researching online sources and other substantive source material to write technical proposal materials.
Develop oral presentation slide content.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Journalism, English, or Business
5+ years of related Federal proposal writing experience in a government contracting environment for multi-teammate, solutions-based proposals ranging in value from $30M to $100M
Proven ability to manage several tasks on multiple proposals simultaneously, while meeting deadlines
Mentoring experience and willingness to mentor junior writers
Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
