We offer a unique perspective into the world of food manufacturing with a maximum 12-week paid internship in our US Marketing group in Northbrook, IL. As a key player on the team, the Marketing & Brand Management Intern will be exposed to several core competencies within the Marketing job function.
Key responsibilities include:
Strategy – Assess the strategic relevance of adjacent categories and communication channels, deliver strategic recommendations to leadership for possible entry into this space.
Analytics – Identify & Size opportunities, monitor performance of recent product launches, hone skills in syndicated sales data.
Creative Development – Brief and lead creative agency in the production of photo/video assets for use in brand communications.
Sales Management – Support sales team in specific retailer communication needs and trade show opportunities.
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
Passion for CPG Food marketing, especially natural foods
Strong analytic ability, with a desire to leverage data into insights for the establishment of strategy
Self-starter, good time management and open communication style
Ability to manage timelines and lead cross-functional peers
Understanding of marketing concepts – including 4 P’s and basic marketing frameworks
Current MBA Candidate preferred
