Sets up, configures, and supports internal and/or external networks.
Develops and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations.
Troubleshoots network performance issues and creates and maintains a disaster recovery plan. Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment.
Provides technical support and guidance to users.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks.
Leads and directs the work of others.
A moderate degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Ensure cleanliness and security of the test beds, equipment, facilities, and workstations.
Maintain a schedule for equipment and test bed use and ensure test bed is configured and ready for scheduled testing.
Assist in planning, executing, and reporting the results of system and acceptance tests and operational assessments.
Assist in maintaining the baseline hardware and software configuration of all test bed equipment.

Required Skills:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Meteorology, or Engineering and 3+ years of experience in operating, managing, and scheduling a large, network system test facility. A degree in another technical discipline may be substituted depending on other qualifications, and length and type of specialized experience. Relevant technical experience may be substituted for education on a case-by-case basis. Skills in operating, configuring, and minor troubleshooting test bed hardware and software are desired. Skills in test planning, execution, and report writing are desired. Configuration management experience in managing computer or test bed resources is desired.

Serco’s C5ISR business unit supports all branches of the U.S. military as they look to extend the life of critical legacy weapons systems and sensors, while seamlessly integrating these systems with the latest C5I environments.
