OVERALL JOB OBJECTIVE :
To support the development and implementation of overall marketing strategies for Ferguson business. Position works with the Marketing Manager to understand business goals and revenue targets to assist with the design and manage execution of marketing strategies to achieve those goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
In addition to the essential job functions described below, associate will perform duties as requested by management
Participate in the development of customer facing marketing programs to include marketing collateral (trade print and online ads, video content), product flyers, sales enablement tools (brochures, flyers, presentations) and coordination of all other promotional programs for the business
Maintain updated sales enablement tools and coordinate implementation and distribution that supports the sales organization (e.g. literature and asset pushes, ensuring sufficient inventoried amounts on Brand on Demand.)
Maintain and update content on Marketing’s intranet page
Assist in reporting and analysis of promotional activities and campaigns using appropriate metrics and presentations
Assist Marketing Manager in working with creative services, advertising, channel, digital and communication teams to manage a comprehensive marketing plan for product launches, promotions and campaigns.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field with at least two (2) years of experience in marketing, brand management or product development, channel marketing, or an appropriate combination of education and experience
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Analytical mindset, detail-oriented and results driven
Show a high degree of organization and self-motivation
Exposure and strong understanding of product development, marketing, manufacturing/sourcing
Experience with email and digital channel best practices, innovation, and technologies
Ability to understand and financial analysis, market research, technical product development, relationship building
General level of comfort in making decisions on-the-fly and without all facts due to compressed timelines driven by customer needs and seasonal business dynamics
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Effective and proficient public speaking, writing and presentation skills
Experience in writing design briefs, briefing creative agencies, and evaluating creative development according to brief.
Perform other duties as assigned
