We are seeking an experienced Carpenter Apprentice for multiple projects in the Denver Metro area.

Position Summary:
Under general supervision of designated supervisor, fabricate and prepare for finishing of various wood, composition and plastic structures, and fixtures for field installations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities listed here represent the minimum requirements for this position. It is expected that employees will seek out opportunities to contribute to their project team and to the company beyond the items listed below.

Operate hand and power tools
Maintain safe work areas and identify hazards associated with task assignments
Load / unload materials as needed (up to 50 pounds)
Assist in erecting frameworks for structures, lay subflooring, build stairs, lay out / install partitions
Assist with fit and install prefabricated window frames, doors, doorframes, weather stripping, basic door hardware (interior and exterior)
Assist with framing and hanging drywall
Assist with constructing forms for placing concrete
Assist with erecting scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level
Qualifications

Positive attitude and desire to learn new skills
Able to multi-task

Self-motivated and a team player

Take initiative and ask questions as needed

Able to follow directions to ensure completion of daily tasks

Have a high degree of flexibility in a changing environment

Able to effectively and appropriately communicate with the public and co-workers

Flexibility to work extra hours

Have a high regard for safety

Ability to operate light equipment is helpful, not required

No commercial carpentry experience required

Successful candidates must be willing to travel and relocate as needed, be able to pass a drug screen as well as random drug screening throughout employment, and be authorized to work in the United States.
