The Finance and Multifamily audit team is seeking an Internal Audit Staff auditor to join our growing finance team. Our finance audits cover a variety of areas including: Financial Reporting, Accounting Policy, Corporate Forecasting, Conservator Capital and ROE Framework, Dodd-Frank Act Stress Test, Hedge Accounting, Debt/Investment Accounting, Loan Accounting, Allowance for Loan Loss, and SF & MF Valuation.

Your Work Falls into Two Primary Categories:
Audit/Reporting
Assist audit team in executing individual audits
Identify deficiencies in the control design and operating effectiveness•Provide solutions and participate in the reporting process
Participate in client meetings and communicate audit findings
Audit Planning
Assist in managing resource allocation and scheduling
Assist with the annual planning process

Qualifications
Typically has 1 to 3 years of experience, including previous experience in public accounting, risk management or internal audit; other relevant experience may be considered.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline or equivalent experience.
Basic understanding of the financial services industry and the secondary mortgage markets.
Strong data analytics skill using the latest tools.
Understanding of audit methodology and risk/controls assessments.
Ability to effectively prioritize tasks/projects.
Willingness to build professional relationship and rapport with clients.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
