Summary of Position:
Our Territory Manager – Trend Micro is responsible to deliver Product Training, Sales Support and Sales Assist elements at Partner Retail Locations (Best Buy) within an assigned Territory. This would include conducting training sessions at retail locations, including team and individual coaching for full-time, part-time and new hire employees. The delivery would include but not limited to product details & benefits, competitive advantages/differences and application process loading along with pricing and promotional components. In addition, the ability to support sales assist to Best Buy Employees when training is not available to be delivered. You may also be requested to support Local/Regional Events at the request of Trend Micro.
Success in this role is tied to meeting and exceeding targeted performance goals coupled with great interpersonal and influencing skills that are coupled with an outgoing personality.
Build excitement in your territory of stores. You are to provide motivation and education on Trend Micro products by:
Side by Side Selling while in the Best Buy Stores
Training on individual products, processes and strategies as needed to individuals and groups
Develop and Deliver Training Events
Attend Store and DM Meetings to share strategies, direction and results
Respond to inquiries and request from the Partner Locations regarding Products Specifics and Processes
Achieve expert knowledge regarding Trend Micro, Promotions, Company Policies and general knowledge of the business by:
Complete all Training Modules provided by Trend Micro and Best Buy on required materials and processes
Achieve/Exceed Sales Goals and targets as established by Management and Clients.
Understand the competitive environment of other Applications, Services and Retail Providers.
Understand and communicate Trend Micro Merchandising expectations for Plan-a-Grams and ensure Offers and Promotions are highlighted as per the plans.
Execute operational elements within reasonable expectations across your assigned Territory including:
Store Visit Adherence including frequency and duration expectations
Completion of Vision Store Visit Report
Reporting as requested/needed
Follow up on open items with return visits
Timely submission of Expense Reports
Attend Conference Calls as required
As an Territory Manager for Trend Micro, build relationships and loyalty with each location and the Sales and Management Member of each store with every interaction.
Have at least 1 years' experience in the retail industry. Brand Ambassador experience strongly preferred
Can build excitement and product knowledge for retail employees
Ability to travel 85% of the time; Clean driving record and provide proof of automobile insurance
Reliable car and be willing and able to drive daily
Goal oriented, organized and high energy to meet our customer needs
Flexible Schedule with the ability to work retail hours (occasional nights, weekends and holidays)
Thrives in independent working environment where your decisions count
Strong communicator who can build relationships and be the advocate for Trend Micro
