Anuvia Prevention and Recovery is seeking qualified candidates for a Client specialist PRN in their treatment center in the office.
The Client Specialist provides supportive interventions to individual consumers, monitors individual consumer’s progress through services. Services will be provided in accordance with established best practice guidelines
To be considered for the position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
High School Diploma, or G.E.D.
Two years of direct healthcare experience with a preference for substance use disorder treatment experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Must have a valid driver's licensure.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, irregular or protracted hours, and to stay over, come in early, or work a different shift than assigned to meet the business need of covering unexpected staff outages to be in compliance with State staff ratio requirements.
Valid Driver’s NC or SC License is required.

Consumer Related Duties:
· Complete consumer admission processing within required 2 hour time-frame established by the State by assisting consumer in signing of all required documentation, explaining appropriate procedures and client rights to consumer
· Conduct consumer discharge process
· Perform duties to keep facility safe and to maintain therapeutic setting, i.e. conduct census bed checks, search and secure consumer’s personal belongings according to established policy and procedures
· Provide educational and therapeutic activities for consumers
· Accurate and timely documentation in the consumer record and in accordance with Federal, state and agency policies
· Assist consumers by providing First Aid/CPR as needed during medical emergency until advanced medical personnel arrive
· Guide consumers through discussion of material presented in video format; work with assigned consumers regarding treatment plans and referrals to the next level of care
· Transport and accompany consumers to and from local appointments
· Explain consumer’s rights and Center procedures to consumers and family members
· Serve meals to consumers and monitor consumer behavior at mealtimes
· Interact with outside agencies to facilitate referrals as assigned
· Provide consumer support as needed
· Assist consumers with Activities in Daily Living as assigned
· Practice Universal Precautions in all consumer-related assignments
· Develop person-centered, individualized service plan with consumer, identify appropriate interventions to be used with consumer, monitor consumer behavior and document achievement of outcome
· Assist with assessing all emergent situations as assigned
· Participate in Staffing crisis situations, post-crisis
· Participate in QA/QI activities as assigned
· Adhere to agency policies and procedures, Center Operational Procedures and internal protocols/directives in all functions
Administrative Duties:
· Ability to work a flexible schedule
