As a Summer Intern at Lakeland Bank you will learn the roles and responsibilities within the department you are placed in. Our summer internships are paid positions, so you will be earning while you are learning.

As a Summer Internship in our Credit Department we will provide you with training and insight on how the bank operates as you work side-by-side with top leaders.

Essential functions:
Perform Commercial Real Estate Loan annual reviews
Research Loan Offerings for existing loans to gather appraised value, loan to value, collateral and guarantees
Research NGP to gather current outstanding balance and interest rate
Use current rent rolls to calculate debt service coverage ratios
Enter certain data points into Baker Hill software system
Prepare annual review and submit to lender for review and approval
Assist Credit Specialist in calculation of financial covenants and updates to the covenant compliance database
Requirements

Skills required:
College students in their junior year and on your way to earning a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
Studying accounting or finance (preferred)
A cumulative 3.0 GPA minimum (preferred)
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel)
Ability to work independently. Possess drive and motivation
Excellent communication skills, ability to engage with all levels within the organization
Must be bondable

Employment Eligibility
All Lakeland Bank employees must be bondable. FBI background checks are required to confirm eligibility for bonding.
