Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a highly qualified, mission oriented individual to help lead a team of cross-discipline specialists located in San Diego, CA.
This role will operate as the MQ-4C Triton Deputy Mission Assurance Program Manager within the Autonomous Systems (AtS) Division, and will be responsible for ensuring all Quality Management System (QMS) and contractual quality requirements are met for the MQ-4C Triton portfolio. Position will provide leadership and direction to IPT personnel and provide direct support to the Director of Mission Assurance on the program. This position will interact often with Triton Enterprise VP and Program Managers. This position also has the responsibility to represent Mission Assurance within the Design Center of Excellence (COE), serving as support to the San Diego COE Mission Assurance Director. This position has responsibility, accountability and authority for all quality and mission assurance activities for the Triton program across multiple sites and work locations.
This position will be focused leading and improving various Mission Assurance activities for the day to day Program Management, Engineering Design, and Software Development at the Rancho Bernardo site. This role also has a multitude of Quality and Mission Assurance off-site responsibilities which includes ensuring program compliance at Northrop Grumman Production facilities in Palmdale, CA and Moss Point, MS. Additional responsibilities include Mission Assurance leadership at the PAX River, MD Flight Test facility and Sustainment contract work at Jacksonville NAS, and Anderson AFB in Guam.
This role is also responsible for the compliance and quality in the deliveries of over 200 subcontractors and suppliers in the Global Supply Chain network.
The Deputy MAPM develops, maintains, and ensures compliance with mission assurance programs, policies, processes, procedures and that the performance and quality of products/processes conform to established standards, specifications and agency guidelines. Provides the program expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, regulatory and/or governmental regulations, and agency guidelines to assure compliance. Supports the development phase by assuring engineering products and processes conform to internal and customer requirements. Works directly with operating entities to ensure that inspections, process control analyses or audits are conducted on a continuing basis as specified to enforce requirements and meet specifications. The candidate must ensure the oversight of administrative/operations, planning, support and property requirements and guide and consult management on matters pertaining to business practices, human resource activity, and organizational requirements. Must be able to monitor cost performance and control program direct budgets. Will be asked to perform other MA&P initiatives and duties as needed.
The Triton Deputy MAPM is a direct representation of the Northrop Grumman Corporation to the Navy customer and, as such, is responsible ensure customer satisfaction regarding the Product Assurance exceeds the expectations of our customer. This role interfaces with program customers to deduce requirements and understand stakeholder expectations to develop controls that build confidence for process execution. Frequent interactions with customer representatives are required on projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements, and contractual clarifications are key to maintaining compliance. As such, this role has direct impact to items that affect Award Fee criteria.

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and at least 5 years of relevant mission assurance experience.
Must have an active in scope DOD Secret Clearance or higher
