LTSS (Long Term Services and Support) provide services such as home health care services, adult day health and durable medical equipment for individuals with physical, intellectual or developmental disabilities, or who need support with activities of daily living. We are serving as a state’s Third Party Administrator (TPA), providing clinical, administrative, operations and systems support for a program with $3.5 billion in annual spend. Our program services include:
Credential, enroll and train providers;
Perform prior authorization and utilization management as directed by the state;
Conduct analyses on utilization and quality patterns;
Support providers’ claim inquiries;
Strengthen program integrity.
This position will be responsible for providing business analysis support for MA LTSS TPA Contract and other new business initiatives while working closely with other functional leaders within the team and also other supporting organizations within Optum and UnitedHealth Group. We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, accountable and seasoned individual with hands-on experience in healthcare who is willing to work in a very dynamic environment and accept risks and rewards of a start-up, which includes a willingness to "roll-up their sleeves and pitch in where needed to meet all deliverables.”
Develop detailed requirements and technical solutions based on the requirements
Lead requirements gathering, and document requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language simply, clearly, unambiguously, and concisely
Review, analyze and interpret contract and develop detailed business/technical requirements
Responsible for developing operational and clinical processes and identify technical solutions to deliver the outcomes
Recommend improvements for operational process and IT system and implement the enhancements while working closely with other functional managers
Work with internal and/or external partners to interpret contractual requirements in order to ensure effective problem solution and strategy implementation
Conduct end-to-end testing of applicable processes, tools, procedures, and systems platforms to validate adherence to RFP/contract requirements
Work with internal partners to identify resource requirements and/or create budgets and forecasts
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
Experience in Salesforce.com administration or development
At least 3+ years of business analysis, operations or project management experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Advanced level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
MBA degree or BA in business
At least 1+ years of experience in healthcare
Working knowledge of Visualforce Page Controllers, Triggers, custom migration tools, writing Test classes to test the Classes, Triggers etc.
Working knowledge in developing technical solutions based on the requirements
Expert in Administrative tasks like Creating objects, fields, Page Layouts, Record Types, Validation Rules, Workflow Rules and Email generation according to application requirements
