Therapy Aide (Part-time - Fox Chapel)
Tri-State Physical Therapy (TSPT), a division of Tri-State Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, is seeking a part time (28 hours/week covering five days a week, with possible additional hours for coverage) Therapy Aide to join our well-established and growing physical therapy practice in our Fox Chapel office.
Founded in 2005, TSPT provides the full range of musculoskeletal rehab including physical, occupational and hand therapy services. Our therapy providers work closely with the physicians and rely on a strong clinical support team to assist with patient education, exercises, modalities, treatment, documentation and other related gym tasks.
Responsibilities:

Assist Physical Therapist in daily patient care

Set up and prepare treatment areas for therapy sessions

Escort patients to and from treatment areas

Perform some administrative tasks to support clinic operations
-
Train and educate patients and/or family members in appropriate exercises

Manage inventory to assure the needs of the clinic are met
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Strong organizational and communication skills
-
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced environment

Passion for helping other and interest in the healthcare field
-
Outpatient rehab experience and/or degree in Athletic Training or Exercise Science preferred.
