Perform technical, analytical and clerical processes and procedures in the flow cytometry department.
Operating, maintaining and calibrating instrumentation used in the department.
Evaluating data for quality and troubleshooting processes affecting data acquisition, including specimen integrity and identification.
Ensuring quality control and quality assurance protocols and procedures are followed.
Ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Preparing reagents, as needed.
Ensuring proper inventories of consumables and reagents.
Developing or assisting in the development of methods to increase quality and productivity.
Other duties and requirements:
Interact with pathologists and other testing personnel to achieve laboratory objectives.
Responsible for daily operational workload.
Willing to work as needed according to the demands of the flow cytometry department.
Requirements:
BS/MS, Flow Cytometry experience preferred, MT (ASCP) and/or H(ASCP) certified.
MT1 with or without flow cytometry experience (if no experience with flow cytometry, then with hematology, tissue typing or blood banking).

Pay: $62,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
