Manager Pastoral Care - Chaplain Services - Penn State Health Holy Spirit
SUMMARY OF POSITION :
The Manager Pastoral Care is responsible for orientation, scheduling, budgeting and payroll for Pastoral Care department as well as coordinating volunteers. Facilitates visits with appropriate religious representatives to patients, maintaining interfaith/ecumenical perspectives as indicated. Supports the Catholic identity of Holy Spirit Medical Center and ensures high quality spiritual care for patients and staff, across a continuum of faith perspective or no such perspective. Maintains department inventory and orders departmental supplies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Master’s degree in Divinity or related field
Five (5) years Management Experience
Five (5) years Chaplaincy Experience, two of which must be in a hospital setting
Board-certification (NACC, APC, NAJC)
Ordained, Licensed, or Commissioned by recognized denomination or faith group.
