Job Description
- Instructional Responsibilities
- Teach assigned curriculum, provide feedback, create/manage lessons/activities
- Teach 4 classes per week (M-Th 10-1 and 6-9 EST)
- Data tracking (attendance, absence reasons, skills assessment
- Maintain rapport and classroom atmosphere
- Build respect, engagement, and communicative classrooms
- Regular check-ins with students
- Proactively tracks students through barriers/issues through follow ups, referrals, etc.
- TAILOR instruction to various levels, abilities, specific class/student needs
- As needed - find & include supplemental lessons/activities to promote best competency building
- Incorporate digital skill building into primary content/lessons
- Foster STUDENT participation and leadership
- Experienced with under-served populations preferred

Experience:
- 2 years of previous experience in teaching English to children or adults (we prefer adult education experience)
- Strong understanding of curriculum development and literacy education
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Familiarity with learning technology tools and resources
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $51,000.00 per year
