Our eCommerce client has an immediate need for a motivated and well organized UX/ UI Researcher / Designer to help craft intuitive, engaging digital experiences that are easy to use and inspiring.
This role is 100% remote in ATL. but requires coming onsite 3 days a week if in Boca Raton, FL.
The ideal UX Designer will enjoy putting order to chaos in a high-energy work environment. Must be adaptable, have strong deductive reasoning, and the ability to work on their own as well as operate within a team. Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
Responsibilities of the UX Designer:
Support UX efforts on key projects and initiatives, raising the bar through quantitative and qualitative metrics.
Rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes, understanding when deeper exploration is warranted and when it is best to change paths and try another approach.
Provide deliverables including prototypes, proof of concept documents, wireframes, site architecture, user flows, use cases, and user scenarios.
Evaluate the usability of new and existing products and make constructive suggestions for change.
Take into account existing insights, technical constraints, business needs, and specific platform demands to produce data-informed solutions.
Design and conduct studies across important product areas, using methods such as usability testing, diary studies, contextual inquiries, and utilizing user session tools.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and provide creative, thoughtful solutions.
Be autonomous. You'll take full ownership of your work and total responsibility for every last detail, every step of the way, from whiteboard sketching to high-fidelity final UI.
Required for the UX Designer:
3+ years of experience designing (at consumer-focused tech or finance companies preferred.)
Visual design chops and a solid UX design foundation for mobile and web.
Understanding of marketing
Strong attention to detail, the ability to maintain the Branch brand or product consistency across multiple assets.
A usability mindset and do not shy away from solving complex problems.
Can speak confidently to your work and research findings.
A people-focused design mentality and have experience working with qualitative and quantitative research.
Sketch, Invision and other industry-standard design/prototyping tools.
Jira and Adobe
This is a 40 hour a week freelance opportunity that could go full-time for the right fit.
