Position Summary
The Webster is looking for a highly qualified Events & Communications Coordinator to support the marketing team. This candidate will contribute to existing marketing programs while assisting with the development of new initiatives aligned with company and client goals. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a wide range of marketing functions, including event project managing, communications, branding, and influencer marketing.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Events

Brainstorming event concepts

Communicating with brands for concept alignment

Identifying new partners and vendor relationships

Liaising and negotiating with vendors

Handling all and any kind of logistics pertaining to events
-
Owning budget and invoice process
-
Creating tools and processes for streamlining communication with all internal departments involved
Installations
-
Communicate with the VM team on a bi-weekly schedule to ensure we are on track for any upcoming installation
-
Confirm load-ins and load-outs with both internal and external partners

Schedule installation photography
Communications
-
Create marketing presentations and concept decks; Contribute to the development of creative and cross-functional briefs

Update and distribute weekly marketing/press recaps, competitive analysis and dashboard to internal teams

Maintain comprehensive marketing calendar and content calendar

Lead project management within marketing team and cross-functionally to ensure all deliverables are completed on time and within budget

Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to buying and retail teams

Act as lead liaison with retail/field teams and own the implementation of market specific activations including lease required advertising programs and visual installation moments

Help conceive and execute events generating brand awareness and PR value, including brand/co-op initiatives and major store openings

Support all PR initiatives:

Creating collateral and assets for press materials, including pitches, press releases and features

Maintain and update all global media lists
-
Support celebrity and influencer seeding and all gifting activations

Assist with marketing department budget and processing invoices in partnership with Finance
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications
-
Past work experience as a communications coordinator or similar role in Fashion/Retail
-
Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, PR, events and visual
-
Ideally have project management experience and time-management skills for juggling numerous time-sensitive projects simultaneously.

Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills

Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite and Keynote
