Duties:
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained to provide quality patient care
- Collaborate with unit managers to identify staffing needs and address any staffing issues
- Maintain accurate records of staff certifications, licenses, and training requirements
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process for new staff members
- Provide support and guidance to staff regarding scheduling, policies, and procedures
Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of physiology, pediatrics, acute care, critical care, and adult education
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient care standards
- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred
- Ability to educate and train staff on various topics related to patient care
