OVERALL FUNCTION:
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Marketing, the Marketing Director is responsible for leadership and execution in the areas of competitive marketing, vertical market strategies, digital initiatives, CRM and data driven market efforts. This position leads the creation, development, and implementation of global marketing plans.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identifies and develops effective global programs for prospecting new customers and new markets/verticals, collaborating with business development and sales teams to accomplish sales goals.
Develops and maintains global market intelligence including growth trends, pricing, customer needs, technology, and competitive landscape.
Researches and stays current on best practices in marketing and competitive programs.
In collaboration with product teams, create and deliver new product introduction marketing plans
Responsible for all web initiatives including partner portals
Implement systems to measure results of various campaigns
Deliver presentation materials in support of sales programs and strategies
Manage trade show activities in collaboration with sales channels
Works closely with product teams to create strategies and support product roadmaps and ensure forward-looking products, price-points, product roadmaps, etc.
Develop marketing strategies that create positive, lasting relationships with customers.
Lead, hire, train, and develop marketing team members to effectively carry out global marketing strategies.
Manages annual marketing budget and ensures marketing programs grow sales.
Maximizes the use of Salesforce to drive forecasting and reporting to achieve better decision-making and sales growth.
Travels to global events, representing Meyer Sound at key and/or high level events (trade shows, music festivals, dealer/distributor meetings, and global/local/national events).

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
7 to 10 years of global management and marketing experience, including experience executing business-to-business marketing plans.
Strong people leadership and influencing skills.
Strong project management and organizational skills and a track record of on-time delivery.
Comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment with a fast pace and fluid nature.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze data and develop recommendations.
Experience and knowledge of the professional audio industry preferred.
