Clinical Neurophysiology Technologist

The CNP Technologist functions as the multi-skilled component of the Division's technical staff performing EEG (including on-call rotation), Evoked Potentials, Autonomic and/or Nerve Conduction Studies. The technologists are responsible for complete and accurate patient preparation, data acquisition, and providing a safe testing environment. Must have demonstrated communication, problem solving and organizational ability. Must be highly organized, efficient, and able to work independently.

Requires a minimum of an associate’s degree in Applied Science or related science. Those hired into this job description prior to year 2013 will not be impacted by this requirement.

Additional qualifications
Computer skills required. Demonstrated leadership abilities including above average communication skills (verbal and written).

License or certification
Must be a current Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist, Clinical Neurophysiology Technologist graduate or current CNT student to apply. Within two years of employment, specific certification through ABRET â€" Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accre

Exemption status

Compensation Detail
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $23.42 per hour.
