Summary Objective:
The HVAC Technician will ensure that all facilities function properly and meet all safety and operational requirements, maintain the HVAC systems at all US Fitness locations in the D.C. Metropolitan area, and provide excellent customer and staff support.

Essential Functions:
Deliver the ultimate fitness experience to every member, every time
Travel to over 20 health clubs in the DC, Metropolitan area and maintain property to ensure a safe and attractive environment for members
Troubleshoot facility issues as needed
Perform all HVAC and equipment system repairs

Job Responsibilities:
Complete regular HVAC inspections to identify and repair problems
Design, install and perform equipment systems preventative maintenance
Maintain electrical, gas, plumbing maintenance and repairs
Respond to all inquiries from senior leadership and management and all service issues within 24 hours
adhere to all OSHA guidelines and safety rules
Perform special projects as assigned
Uphold club, building, facilities, service, program, and emergency procedures
Attend all mandatory meetings
Assume all other duties as assigned
Work morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend hours as necessary

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Ability to handle situations with patience, tact, and professionalism
Skilled in heating and air conditioning unit repair and maintenance
Operate appropriate tools effectively
Communicate verbally and non-verbally
Work well under pressure

Required Experience, Education & Certifications:
Five years of previous experience in facilities required
Valid Driver’s License required
Current HVAC Certification and License required
