The primary role of the Investment Reporting Manager is to provide review & oversight over the production and dissemination of investment portfolio and index reporting (specifically for composition, characteristics, performance & attribution). Investment reporting will be provided for all American Century Investments products, benchmark indices, and other relevant market data for ACIM Senior Management, Investment Teams, the Boards of Directors of the Mutual Funds, Institutional and Intermediary client teams and sales teams, and other pertinent internal business partners.

What you will do:
Handle data/reporting requests from multiple partners of the firm (Sales, Client Relations, Investment Management, Legal, Product Marketing, etc.) and provide oversight of timely delivery, quality control of data and materials for clients and prospects
Serve as the data steward for the Investment data assets demonstrating modern data governance tools
Collaborate with other teams, including technology to help develop creative reporting solutions using data from multiple data sources including Eagle PACE, Factset, Blackrock and in-house system data with other investment management systems or third-party reporting tools
Guide the team by providing mentorship, coaching, and direct feedback. Provide assistance to team members in their day-to-day responsibilities to support quality and timeliness in their work in addition to providing direction in their career development
Ensure reporting meets data security and compliance requirements relating to the accurate use of proprietary data (e.g., holdings, attribution, etc.), along with understanding of external data licensing restrictions (e.g., benchmark index data, security ratings, etc.)
Participate in Client Onboarding by reviewing Investment Management Agreements and identify reporting needs, assess requirements and respond swiftly with questions, concerns and/or propose agreeable solutions

Hands on/Solid understanding of performance measurement, attribution, contribution to return and risk analysis for equity, fixed income and multi asset class, GIPS Performance Measurement and Reporting Standards
Sophisticated understanding of investment security accounting, valuation, international markets, industry terminology, security classifications, benchmarks and industry standards for all security types (equity and fixed income)
Comprehensive knowledge of client reporting, investment products, investment fields, investment strategies, internal benchmarks, external benchmarks and their relationship to portfolio securities
Build and maintain positive relationships with a client-service focus while interacting with portfolio managers, investment analysts, sales and marketing personnel and market data vendors
Demonstrates efficiency in working with cloud-based technology tools and programming languages to achieve problem resolution while working in an exceptions-based process with large volumes of data
Capable of working in a multifaceted and changing environment, ability to lead multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast paced and constantly evolving environment
Multifaceted teammate, challenger of status quo, doing what is right for the client, effective communication to team and seniors
7-10 years of experience in investment management industry or related industry groups or organizations required
Degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Accounting or equivalent work experience is required. CFA and/or CIPM highly preferred.
ESG reporting knowledge is helpful
Hands on working experience in Factset/B1 is must
Hands on experience in use of data warehouses, writing SQL for Reporting preferred
Working/hands on knowledge of Alteryx, AWS Data Lake, Athena, Glue, Snowflake, RedShift or similar technologies a huge plus.
Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, PowerBI) preferred
