As a Senior Designer, you will have a dual role of creating and leading. You will deliver feedback and creative direction as well as carry your own workload day-to-day – ensuring all projects align with the overall creative vision, brand strategy and business needs. You will mentor and influence designers, present work to internal and external stakeholders and contribute to critical projects including a company-wide rebrand. You will be a master of both conceptual and tactical aspects of visual design with a keen eye for detail always delivering fresh, impactful visual communications that brings the brand to life and keeping the end user in mind.

Act as mentor and coach designers to ensuring creative consistency across channels, identifying and organizing workshops and other development opportunities that will enhance an environment of creativity and inspiration.
Proven experience managing individual workload as well as the responsibility of managing at team’s deliverables and needs
Lead development and execution of targeted, strategic design concepts for all marketing channels including, but not limited to, website content, digital advertising, print advertising, social media, sales collateral and other merchandising materials.
Strong sense of business acumen with the ability to role with changes and embrace a time of transformation
Exhibit diversity and range within your design skill set to complete various projects including advertisements, sales collateral, email, banner advertisements, event signage, invitations, microsites, brochures, infographics, identity packages, logos and more.
Initiate, collaborate and participate in ideation and strategy sessions with the creative team and other cross-functional teams, including eCommerce, brand, social media as well as external marketing partners.
Facilitate creative team ideation sessions and demonstrate effective communication of recommended concepts to stake-holders
Be a champion for the brand and uphold brand standards in all design deliverables, always looking for opportunities to streamline and elevate.
Ability to use visual storytelling through the translation of complex business information, metrics and data into compelling visuals.
Bring value to brainstorming and idea generating sessions through your valuable contributions.
Ability to thrive under pressure in a busy, fast-paced environment balancing tight deadlines with great design and sense of urgency
Ability to assess and prioritize projects to ensure an efficient workflow

Job Specifications / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design, visual communications, advertising or related field
7+ years graphic design experience in an in-house creative team, marketing or ad agency environment
Demonstrated experience in leadership skills and/or mentoring
Experience managing multiple tasks in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
Advanced level knowledge of Mac OSX based computer platform required
Advanced level skills using Adobe Creative Suite/Adobe Creative Cloud – specifically InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
Familiarity with project management software and workflow systems (Workfront) and Digital Asset Management systems (Canto)
Be a culture driver in the organization and look for ways to strengthen team bonding
Demonstrated proficiency with building files for display advertising. Experience with HTML5 is a plus.
Advanced knowledge of print production – including pre-press, prep and preparing files for print and building files for final output.
A keen eye for typography and layout hierarchy to develop fresh and innovative designs; illustrative skills are a plus
Maintain consistency in projects within graphic standards guidelines
