The Manager, US People ZBB is responsible for P&L management of U.S. People Costs (~$1B in spend), with a focus on the Operations areas. The position will act as a key partner to Finance, HR, and Functional Leadership across the organization to build and execute upon the annual people budget and other strategic initiatives. The individual will have significant exposure to Senior Leadership including the Zone CPO, CFO, Head of Operations, and Head of ZBB.
Key Components of the role
Collaborate with finance and human resources to build the bottoms-up U.S. People Budget.
Monthly forecast preparation and presentation to senior leadership.
Identify key cost/savings drivers vs budget to facilitate monthly performance review meetings.
Develops action plans and monitors progress.
Conduct bi-weekly meetings with HR Business Partners to ensure proposed new hire offers and organizational changes can be executed based on budgetary restrictions.
Partner with accounting on month end close activities.
Contribute to special projects related to the company’s long-term strategic plan and organizational efficiency.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting preferred
Minimum 3 years of Excel mastery and financial systems acumen Planning / Forecasting experience required
Negotiation skills and ability to work across the organization and handle confidential information
Motivated self-starter who can effectively work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
