The Director, Value Architecture - SolEx will work closely with SAP Strategic Alliances and the SAP/BlackLine Sales Organization to ensure that SAP/BlackLine Sales & Pre-Sales teams are adequately enabled and prepared to position the BlackLine Platform in SAP current and future accounts. This includes but is not limited to developing training curriculum, creating and maintaining standard content and providing direct support in large BlackLine/SAP sales pursuits. They must possess deep expertise in the BlackLine product, finance operating models, industry standards, regulations, emerging trends, competitor capabilities/limitations, and finance transformation.
Primary source of enablement for SAP Sales & Presales, educating SAP stakeholders in complimentary value of BlackLine solutions to support and grow the market.
Manage resources and work with other departments to align materials and ensure cohesive joint SAP/BlackLine messaging.
Working closely with Product, Marketing and Services they will assist in the development of other assets (e.g., workshop enablers, use cases, competitive comparisons, sales/partner training, whitepapers, webcasts, etc.) and help with evangelizing our product.
Own the ongoing development of our SAP playbook and related content.
Conduct SAP & BlackLine facing awareness & enablement sessions onsite and remotely.
Proactively engage with SAP to identify enablement needs.
Maintain reporting and metrics related to enablement past, present and future
Work closely with BlackLine Sales, SAP Sales, Product and Services throughout the entire deal lifecycle to consult on messaging and solution architecture.
Lead Business Value/Solution Design workshops and complete business cases that include ROI analysis and solution road maps.
Develop deep understanding of SAP structure and roles and align to required trainings and content.
Participate in business performance reviews to assess operational metrics/effectiveness on a recurring (quarterly) basis with partner alliance leads, alliance team.
Ensure effective and timely communications on relevant announcements, programs, and performance – with both internal and external stakeholders.
Participate in alliance strategy and GTM plan for SAP accounts in the region.
The Director, Value Architecture - SolEx is expected to roll up their sleeves and fill gaps where necessary to make the product successful for our clients.
4 year degree in Accounting/Finance
10+ years combined experience in Accounting/Finance, Finance Transformation and Financial Systems related positions
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with partners, prospects & clients
Proven ability to translate prospective client/partner objectives into solutions enabled by our product
Experience selling and managing large transformational projects at strategic accounts
Experience creating and delivering compelling presentations
Experience consulting on process improvement and technology enablement
High degree of BlackLine and SAP product knowledge (Implementation, System Administration or Project Management)
