As a Data Integration Developer, you work closely with the entire technology team to drive innovation & best-in-class user experiences across all Lovesac information experiences. You work with all levels of the business and bring new features and functionality to both internal and external customers. You are responsible for envisioning and delivering reliable and high-performance data services including Extract, Transform and Load (ETL), data hygiene standards and practices, defining and adhering to cross-system data rationalizing and standardization, and insuring time-context consistency of data across the organization.

Key Job Responsibilities:
Is responsible to meet or exceed all goals and key performance indicators (KPIs)

Drives standardization of design, development, testing and documentation practices ensures integration initiatives are successfully developed and delivered and are accountable, maintainable and can evolve with ever changing business needs

Aligns closely with business and technical partners, translating functional requirements into technical solutions; assesses options and provides direction on integration methods, tools and system administration practices; provides management with feedback as to the feasibility of requirements within time and cost constraints

Designs and develops real-time, near real-time and batch interfaces from diverse data sources including ERP (NetSuite), various database platforms, crowd-sourced and social media origin, desktop media and others

Identifies, selects and utilizes appropriate means to protect data accuracy and integrity; commitment to and knowledge of data security protocols for transport and storage

Provisions, deployment and support services with applications in a cloud environment, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and/or others

Assists the team and management with projects and tasks as needed

Maintains a calm demeanor and manage issues professionally and according to our company standards

Requirements & Qualifications:
A candidate should have a bachelor’s degree, strong data management skills and a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience as an Data Integration Analyst or Developer with hands-on skills. You should have a focus on high-performance and exemplary data quality results in environments with very high standards for data usage in business transactions, business performance reporting and analytics.

A Data Integration Developer has experience integrating transaction systems, data repositories and data warehouses, third-party data sources including leading-edge social media and related sources. A Developer has strong endpoint connectivity and data transport and transformation knowledge with experience with NetSuite, AWS/Redshift, Azure/SQL Server and/or other similar platforms.

In-depth understanding and experience is required across many and diverse technologies including SOAP and REST web services, XML and JSON, scripting including Javascript.

Preferably, you understand source code control practices at an expert level and can transition acquired code to a rigorous build and release practice (Subversion, Git, BitBucket, SVN, etc). A Data Integration Developer has experience across the software development lifecycle: development, testing, configuration management, deployment, etc. You have strong experience using Cloud infrastructures including AWS, Azure and/or others. A Developer has experience conducting unit tests, tracking problems, and implementing changes to ensure adherence to test plans and functional requirements.

A Developer should have in-depth knowledge of retail systems and business functions. You have strong abstract thinking and creative problem-solving skills. You have the ability to work through ambiguity and competing priorities and effectively make progress on multiple activities. You are committed to quality and are detail oriented.

A Developer is results driven and uses his or her knowledge to meet or exceed KPIs and goals. You have proven time management skills and quickly adapts to a changing business environment; able to prioritize responsibilities with the appropriate level of urgency. A Developer listens and can use this information to solve problems, anticipate issues and make correct decisions based on a variety of situations. You are accountable and take responsibility for your actions.

A Developer has excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and appropriate communication skills. You are customer–centric, creating solutions and experiences that drive business results and engagement with the brand. A Developer works collaboratively with fellow employees, treating all with dignity and respect at all times. You comply at all times with the standards, policies and procedures in the Lovesac Employee Handbook.

A Developer must be capable of using and operating all equipment as required, including but not limited to: laptop, etc. You must be able to move objects (including medium to large furniture items up to 75 pounds) from a lower to a higher position or horizontally from position-to-position and be able to assemble furniture while working on the selling floor, the office or in our warehouse. A Developer is required to travel, as required by the Company in its sole discretion, to out of town meetings and conferences using various forms of transportation.

Morning, evening, weekend and holiday work hours are required due to the fact that our stores, including our website, are open seven days a week. You work in our Headquarters located in Stamford, CT.
