Covestic is searching for a Technical Writer to join our growing ServiceNow consulting practice.

Ideal candidates will have a strong written and verbal communication skills along with savvy technical writing abilities.
Candidate may choose between working from our offices in Kirkland, WA, on customer site in the Seattle area or home/remote.

The Technical Writer is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and acquiring subject knowledge by interviewing, eliciting or observing performance of ServiceNow applications and integrations or referring to technical specifications and illustrations to write processes, procedures, architecture diagrams, testing documentation and training documentation.

Responsibilities:
Adopt, adapt or develop standard templates and style guides, primarily using Microsoft Office suite applications, with an emphasis on Excel, Word, Visio and PowerPoint
Review online documentation, observe business processes, perform interviews and analyze applications/integrations to develop process and procedural documentation, training documentation, testing documentation and diagrams
Performs quality assurance on all project deliverables

Required Qualifications:
+2 years of technical writing experience
Well-developed editing and writing skills, with experience producing written deliverables for diverse audiences (technical and non-technical)
Demonstrated excellence in writing format, style, and composition
Extensive command of the English language (grammar, punctuation, spelling syntax) with active voice writing abilities
Highly organized individual with strong interpersonal skills to effectively drive content development, review and approvals
Strong ability to manage workload including estimation, tracking, and handling simultaneous concurrent document workstreams
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
A basic techno-functional understanding of SaaS applications and application platforms like ServiceNow
Must be proficient to expert level using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree
ServiceNow experience
ITIL understanding/experience
