Summary

The Corporate Receptionist is responsible for maintaining a welcoming reception area for employees, clients and visitors while accurately and efficiently answering and directing a high volume of phone calls and inquiries to the appropriate party.

Essential Job Functions:
Greet visitors professionally and warmly.
Handle high call volume on computerized switchboard.
Assist in coordinating general administrative activities for the office.
Assist in handling building management and facilities issues.
Coordinate with the Mail Desk to purchase & maintain office supplies.
Participate in special projects and/or other duties as assigned.

Other Related Duties:
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:
Thorough understanding of office administrative tasks.
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably within the mortgage industry.
Demonstrated track record of outstanding punctuality.
Exceptional computer skills and internet resource skills.
Professional, well presented and confident demeanor.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong multi-tasking and organization skills.
Clear speaking voice to utilize our paging system.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Can-do attitude and desire to do more for a growing company.
Availability to work alternating Saturdays per the following schedule:
(Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and alternating Saturdays 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., these hours are mandatory)

Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent is required. Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or Technical School preferred; 2+ years related experience and/or training.

Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
