The primary duties andresponsibilities of the Account Manager consist of, but are not limited to:
Ø Team with assigned Seal Company Inside Sales II.
Ø Help develop the relationship between thecustomer and the Seal Company Inside Sales II representative by making customercalls with the Seal Company Inside Sales II.
Ø Turn in an itinerary by 8:00 a.m. Monday toreview plans for the coming week with management.
Ø Turn in all new territory business for the companyby the 1st of each month.
Ø Turn in Parker new business report by the 20th of every month.
Ø Cold call and visit potential new customers on aweekly basis.
Ø Maintain a minimum of 4 Customer Projects each valuedat $5,000 tracked in the Account Manager Project Tracking Report at all times.
Ø Produce the targeted Sales and profit goals ofthe Company within the guidelines of Company policies.
Ø Monitor and report to management all work thatis in the “pipeline”. This includespending estimates, potential sales and Engineering projects.
Ø Gainapproval from Director of Sales for purchases of new equipment or software thatwill be expensed to Seal Company.
Ø Remain visible in the business community and inthe market place in which the company operates and provide a positive andprofessional image for the company.
Ø Work with the Director of Sales to developpotential new markets for Seal Company products.
Ø Attend association meetings as directed by the Directorof Sales.
Ø Remain in constant contact with establishedcustomers to ensure their satisfaction with the company's products and services.
Ø Attend all sales meetings.
Ø Keep informed on competitors' selling policies,tactics, services, and prices.
Ø Attend trade shows, conventions, seminars, andother meetings to enhance his/her professional knowledge or to promote theCompany. Attendance will be directed bythe Director of Sales.
Ø Help to develop and implement effective andefficient sales and marketing programs with the concurrence of the Director ofSales.
Ø Keep updated on the events in the industry andmarket place in order to take advantage of new changes.
Ø Settle all customer complaints at this levelwithin 48 hours and seek guidance of the Director of Sales as required.
Ø Ensure that all company transactions areconducted in an ethical and prudent manner.
Ø Maintain a well-groomed, professional appearanceappropriate for the position and situation in which the Account Manager may beinvolved.
Ø All other duties and tasks as may be directedfrom time to time by the Director of Sales.
Ø Operatewithin the principles of character core and exceed one’s self and othersexpectations through their actions.
MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE
The Account Manager of Seal Company Enterprises shall bedeemed to be performing in an acceptable manner when the following have beenaccomplished:
Ø Make 25 sales visits per week, 5 of which are coldcalls. Cold calls to be reported on the Cold Call Report form.
Ø Minimum of 4 Customer Projects valued at $5,000 trackedin the Account Manager Project Tracking Report at all times.
Ø Follow up on all assigned sales leads within twoweeks of date assigned.
Ø Sales goals established by the Director of Salesare met or exceeded.
Ø Maintains sales records in an accurate manner.
Ø Itineraries are handed in weekly.
Ø Customer information and customer visits aremaintained in CRM.
Ø Conducts himself/herself in a professional andcooperative manner inside and outside the office.
Ø Customer satisfaction is high, with issues heldto an acceptable minimum as established by the Director of Sales.
