THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a results-oriented SMB Account Executive to sell a premium solution and help us set, drive and execute towards our revenue goals. Our Account Executives will have 1-3 years of experience where they will be responsible for selling directly to the C-Suite across various industries.

THE TEAM

Xactly’s Sales team is a tight-knit and growing team, looking to expand and add individuals with diverse backgrounds. Our team’s goal is to set customers up for success and transform the way C-level executives think about Sales Performance Management

THE SKILL SET:
Bachelors Degree
1-2 years of sales experience in a full lifecycle quota carrying role; SaaS selling experience a major plus
Closing experience preferred
Ability to manage a multi-threaded sales process and competitive deals
Experience with consultative, value-based selling
Proven track record of exceeding quota
Exceptional communication skills and professionalism
Must be able to thrive and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
Proactive territory management, prospecting, and lead generation
Intellectual curiosity and a desire to grow a business
High energy and a positive attitude a must

Within 1 month you’ll:
Build relationships with internal business partners including Marketing and Sales
Receive administrative training on how to leverage internal tools including Marketo, Box and Salesforce etc.
Gain a strong understanding of Sales Performance Management space and the business challenges Xactly solves
Shadow your Xpert and learn Xactly best practices
Complete onboarding training via Xactly Inspire

Within 3 months you’ll:
Graduate Xactly's Sales Training Bootcamp
Gain a strong understanding of the business, begin developing your assigned territory and prospecting into your accounts
Work with your assigned Sales Development Representative, Solutions Consultants, Managers, and peers to continue learning about product, prospecting and value-driven sales process
Continue your education around Xactly’s competitive advantage as well as strengthening your business acumen
Have an understanding of how to run a product overview demo
Become an expert on internal tools and processes

Within 6 months you’ll:
Have a strong understanding of Xactly's sales methodology
Begin to consistently hit quota and key sales metrics
Assist in the development of best practices for sales process improvement
Have a complete understanding of the Xactly product suite
Collaborate with your manager for continued professional development

Within 12 months you’ll:
Be seen as a well-versed, trusted business-advisor and expert, making a significant positive impact in Sales
Participate in and lead certain continuing education programs and serve as an Xpert for new hires
Identify further personal education opportunities to increase your business and instructional acumen
Strive for a promotion through continued achievement of quota attainment, exhibiting Xactly’s CARE values and seeking additional responsibilities
