Interwell Health is looking for an experienced Senior Manager of Content Strategy to join our growing marketing team. The Senior Manager of Content Strategy reports to the Vice President of Corporate Communications and serves as editor-in-chief for a wide range of content across provider, payer, and patient audiences. This person is responsible for creating unique brand stories for publication across channels that resonate with our existing audiences as well as prospective members.
The Senior Manager of Content Strategy’s biggest priority is creating and executing a plan for brand storytelling, news, and thought leadership through owned content on the company’s new website which will be launched in early 2023. The position will also partner with the marketing team to ensure patient-facing marketing and educational content is meeting all objectives to help people with kidney disease live their best lives.

Lead the development and execution of end-to-end content strategy across multi-channels

Translate strategies into planning, execution, and optimization of content across channels

Ability to take a comprehensive and strategic approach to storytelling, tying together big ideas/concepts in ways that engage customers and are novel and innovative

Gather key business and audience insights and create a long-term vision for content needs

Partner with other disciplines, building relationships and trust within the organization
- Work with a variety of stakeholders to create, review, and gain consensus around strategies, standards, and topics

Create and/or maintain editorial calendars, content playbooks, voice/tone guides, taxonomies, metadata frameworks, content guidelines and management, and content migration plans

Develop repeatable processes workflows, that keep the team nimble and successful in a culture that values moving fast and iterating quickly

Drive the direction and tone of the Content Strategy practice

Promote content strategy awareness and best practices within the company
- Articulate and evangelize audience-centric thinking and design rationale to internal stakeholders

5-7 years of experience
-
Exceptional writer and/or editor in short and long-form content with background in communications, journalism, or content marketing

Passion for brand storytelling and the company’s mission

Familiarity with producing videos, podcasts, infographics, case studies, and other potential storytelling vehicles

Creative and curious, ability to understand and explain complicated concepts quickly, generating original content ideas to meet company goals

Experience in healthcare writing and communication for both B2B and B2C audiences preferable

Proven experience in all facets of content strategy, inclusive of, but not limited to: large site taxonomies, content audits, gap analyses, information architecture, site map/navigation, editorial guidelines
