This position is responsible for supporting and contributing to a variety of tasks, while being a creative, eager, and accountable team player. Participate in client meetings and demonstrate understanding of client projects, goals, and expectations.
Produce work using computer aided design/drafting hardware and software including Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and SketchUp.
Develop space programming and workplace strategies for projects.
Generate designs that can be implemented within constraints of client goals, budget and local ordinances & codes.
Select and model appropriate material selections including colors, fixtures, and furniture.
Assist in the development of specifications for interior finish products and furnishings.
Lead or participate in client presentations that communicate design concepts.
Develop and oversee design goals for multiple projects with team leadership.
Participate in proposal development.
Review and create schematic design, shop drawings, construction documents and material sample selections for conformance with the design intent.
Monitor all phases of project design.
Review completed projects for strengths and weaknesses.
Participate in development of marketing and PR materials.
Subscribe to our goals and objectives, including geographic and project-type diversity.
Become a complementary member of our team as a whole and on a project-by-project basis.
Field measure and document existing building.
Associates degree in Interior Design or Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
CQRID or NCIDQ certification preferred.
Demonstrate ability to understand and apply architectural and interior design principles at a high level.
Able to multi-task and establish priorities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Self-directed and can work independently with minimal supervision
Project management experience is a plus
Demonstrated track record of successful past employment.
