Job Description

Northwestern Mutual - Stamford is looking for an energetic and team-oriented individual to join as our Front Desk Receptionist. The responsibility of the Front Desk Lead is to serve as the primary contact for visitors, maintain office facilities and assist with administrative work as needed. The specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Visitors & Communications:

  • Greet visitors and direct them appropriately; Coordinate security access and garage validation for visitors
  • Answer, screen and direct telephone calls and voicemails left on the general inbox
  • Maintain conference room calendar and scheduling
  • Maintain Network Office Directory
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail
  • Run and distribute daily and monthly reports


  • Maintain and stock the reception, conference rooms, mail/copy room and kitchen areas
  • Maintain inventory and order office supplies as needed
  • Coordinate with service providers as needed for maintenance of office facilities, including physical office space and copiers/scanners and postage machines.

Administrative Assistance:

  • Provide administrative assistance as needed
