The Supply Chain Technology Analyst is responsible for driving process and technology improvement for the Supply Chain organization, demonstrating a broad-based knowledge of all aspects of the sourcing and procurement process with a technology support focus. The position will leverage technology to drive process automation and deliver efficient business processes for Supply Chain. This position will lead system continuous improvement initiatives through requirements gathering, analytics, evaluating and integrating tools to drive the department from tactical activities to more strategic value activities. This position will ensure systems are operating optimally and in support of the needs of the business. An ability to identify opportunities and manage through execution is key for success in this position.
Provide support to the Supply Chain sourcing and procurement organizations by delivering technology support, spend analytics and process excellence
Drive process efficiency and automation of Purchase Order transactions by enabling catalogs
Facilitate electronic exchange of Purchase Orders and Invoices by enabling suppliers on the eCommerce network
Provide timely resolutions to technology problems that could adversely affect the business
Create detailed analysis to solve business process challenges and trouble shoot application issues
Leverage Business Intelligence tools to conduct complex data analytics to support the sourcing, procurement, materials management and supplier diversity functions
In coordination with the business and IT initiate, research, evaluate and recommend new technologies
Coordinate the development, upgrades, enhancements and support of Supply Chain systems
Lead and manage process improvement projects such as master data clean-up, tail-spend solutions, etc.
Manages sourcing system configuration, administration and support (currently FlexRFP)
Promotes process improvement initiatives through data extracts, analysis and reporting from systems such as sourcing system, contract management system, procurement system and financial system
Ensures that all processes and transactions are SOX compliant
Conducts complex spend analysis across a broad range of spend categories including technical, direct and indirect
All other duties as assigned.
BS/BA preferred, or minimum 5 years relevant procurement/contracting experience with a technology focus
General business knowledge and acumen, with broad-based knowledge of sourcing, procurement, contracting and supplier management process
Working technical knowledge of functional and reporting systems (like Ariba, Maximo, Peoplesoft, Tableau, Alteryx, etc.)
Ability to adapt to complex Supply Chain issues where an analysis of statistical, commercial or technical data is required
Passion and expertise in data mining to deliver optimum business outcomes
Strong written and oral communication; ability to negotiate and persuade others
Capable of leading cross-functional teams
