A Controls Technician will assist in the build of customized general assembly tooling. Special machine building activities will include primarily mechanical assembly, pneumatic and basic electrical plumbing and wiring. A machine builder will support the machine building process through the de-bug and acceptance testing, up to and including potential on-site customer installations and start-up support. A Machine Builder must be professional, proactive and positive when interacting with customers. Our goal is not to meet expectations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Education and/or Experience:
Prefer an Associate’s degree in electrical technology, manufacturing or a related field, AND at least three years of related experience. Requires at least two years of experience managing multiple projects. Pneumatic, Siemens, and Allen Bradley knowledge preferred.
