This position, reporting to the VP, Treasurer, will manage the company’s global banking structure including international bank account structure, cash positioning, reporting and forecasting, as well as liaise and manage international bank relationships. The position will review and manage subsidiaries’ capital structures, including intercompany loans, assist with investment and financing decisions in foreign jurisdictions, as well as liaise with the Tax and Legal departments in foreign capital structuring, funding/cash positioning and repatriation matters.
The position will also, in conjunction with the Treasury Director for Capital Markets, support management of Company’s global foreign exchange exposures, including quantifying global currency exposures. The position will also assist the Treasurer in capital markets transactions and in worldwide debt compliance and reporting. The position will manage reporting of activities in these areas to internal constituents and coordinates compliance with audit requirements, as well as quarterly and annual SEC reporting requirements and compliance.
Responsibilities
Manage the Company’s global bank account structure and systems, consolidate and streamline account structure as necessary, and partner with internal constituents for worldwide cash forecasting/reporting.
Coordinate with Treasury Director of Capital Markets in foreign currency/interest rate risk exposure quantification and management, hedge documentation and derivative reporting.
Manage tax and legal compliance as they relate to the administration of intercompany loan and capitalization agreements, hedging strategies and related reporting.
Assist the Treasurer and coordinate with Treasury Director of Capital Markets in managing the Company’s capital and debt structure. Review and evaluate financing alternatives. Assist in the planning, preparation and issuance of debt including review of any borrowing documentations. Be able to help to analyze, plan and execute capital markets transactions to improve the company’s profitability and risk profile.
Provide detailed analytical support and variance reporting, including Plan/Forecast to actual variance analyses for working capital metrics as well as documentation and support for Company’s quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements.
Manage SOX, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Treasury Policies to ensure compliance and review for necessary updates. Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements as required to assure that treasury services are adequately controlled, properly accounted and reported. Coordinate all internal and external audits as they relate to treasury services.
Review and approve invoices for all international treasury related services.
Assist the Treasurer in strategic initiatives, including implementing treasury projects to optimize operational efficiencies.
Management/Board reporting support. Responsible for special projects and any other duties required by the Treasurer and the Chief Financial Officer.
Serves as liaison between Company and financial institutions regarding treasury matters
Qualifications
10+ years’ experience in treasury with multinational, public companies, international treasury, or operations experience, highly preferred
Demonstrated progression in scope of responsibilities, leadership capacity and accountabilities.
MBA, with good understanding in accounting and international tax, a plus
Excellent time and project management skills, able to set priorities for self and team.
