Exciting Opportunity: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Carriage Hill Family Care, PLC
License Requirements:
We invite Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) with a degree from an accredited nursing school, current unrestricted license from the Arkansas State Board of Nursing, and up-to-date Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification for Healthcare Professionals to join our growing team.
About the Role:
As an integral member of our health care team, you'll work closely with medical providers, delivering exceptional care to our patients. You will be pivotal in assessing, planning, and implementing their care, as well as documenting the treatment provided and their condition.
This role requires availability for one Saturday clinic every seven weeks from 9 AM to 12 PM, and an 8 AM start on regular workdays.
Your Responsibilities:
You'll be:
- Actively involved in patient care, from obtaining vitals and monitoring patient health to administering prescribed medications
- Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records in the electronic medical record
- Serving as a key communicator between patients, medical providers, and other nurses
- Contributing to our clinic's operational effectiveness and promoting teamwork
- Representing our clinic professionally in various settings
- Ensuring a safe, secure, orderly, and aseptic environment for all patients and employees.
What We're Looking For:
- Familiarity with HIPAA and basic principles of health promotion, prevention, and motivation
- Understanding of medical office protocols, medical terminology, and the Arkansas Nursing Practice Act
- Ability to use a PC, navigate EMRs, and multitask while remaining compassionate
- Ability to work collaboratively with other medical offices, ERs, and specialists
- Willingness to learn to use office equipment, prioritize and allocate resources
Physical Requirements:
This role entails frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and occasional sitting. You'll often use a computer, which requires close eye work. Occasionally, you may need to lift up to 100 lbs., carry up to 40 lbs., and push/pull up to 350 lbs.
