We are excited to be looking for a high-level bike mechanic at our small, fast-paced shop. With our business model and workload, not much on-the-job training will be offered when it pertains to fundamentals of working on a bike. We will be providing training necessary to work with our systems and vendors, new industry technology, and open to any ideas you would like to bring to the table.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Manage the service side of the shop
- Build orders & source parts in a timely manner
- Communicate and coordinate with vendors
- Communicate expectations and timelines clearly to customers
- Help with other shop projects
Qualifications
- Real-world experience working on bikes, ideally from a shop setting (2+ years)
- Excellent customer service
- Service-writing experience
- Willingness to serve the person in front of you
- Creative problem solver
