A fantastic opportunity is available for a Jr. Communications Planning Manager to join our Marketing team.
The Jr. Communications Planning Manager will act as an internal expert throughout the entire Strategic Communications Process. This includes Communications Strategy, Activation, Tactical Planning and Implementation as well as Measurement. This person will work with the Sr. Communications Planning Manager as the conduit between the RB brand teams and the external creative and media agency teams to ensure that all Comms Plans ladder up to the overall Comms Strategy and that business objectives are addressed and measured. This person will manage all media channels working closely with the digital and data driven marketing to bring new innovative digital thinking to the brands based on the Communications Objectives.
Responsible for the management of the monthly process of budgeting, plan optimizations and revisions for the current year media plan between the brands and the agencies
Track monthly media delivery and spending working with Investment team to manage budgets
Work closely with search and website managers to ensure a consistent and delightful end to end consumer experience
Work with digital teams and agencies on trafficking sheets to ensure seamless delivery
Work with key partners to produce a suite of custom content assets to be used across platforms
Assist lead agencies in navigating across the RB Organization throughout Communication Process, including CMI, Digital PTP Team, and Brand Teams, locally and globally
Work with internal Digital Team to ensure digital is at the core of brand plans across the entire spectrum of the including Search, Social, eCRM, etailing, eShopper, Mobile, etc.
Align with Hygiene and Home brand teams to ensure seamless communication between integrated agency teams responsible for Communications Plans, i.e. media, digital, creative, PR, etc.
Find key consumer and brand insights that will translate to building an annual Communications Strategy
Provide (US) local market knowledge regarding the media market place and key campaign learnings to global marketing including Europe and Norterica
Work with agencies to develop marketing strategy considering audio, video, display, paid social and custom content as part of a comprehensive media plan
Tactical Planning and Implementation
Coordinate budget planning and accuracy with each brand team
Work with Digital Teams, internal and external, to bring to the brand teams new innovative “first to market” opportunities that will be breakthrough for RB and are in line with Communication Objectives
Project manage annual planning briefs from the brands as they are communicated to all agency partners
Act as the liaison between the agencies and brand teams to filter questions and produce presentations throughout the planning process
Gain alignment across internal brand teams on reach curves, tactics, investment, media partners, creative rotation, flighting, etc.
Work with the agencies and media team to produce an executive summary of the completed annual plan for all brands
Identify KPIs needed to pay off Communication Objectives
Partner with CMI (Consumer Market Insights) to align on a measurement strategy
Implement and manage the organization of data for Media Mix Effectiveness models
Identify insights and oversee data transfers for Multi Touch Attribution
Bring key learnings from brand activations back to the Media and Digital Team to contribute to building best practices

4+ years of relevant experience working in brand marketing or managing strategy at an agency
Experience activating traditional and digital media
Experienced relationship manager working with both internal and external partners
A commitment to excellence with a positive and resilient attitude
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Bachelor’s degree, MBA a plus
Entrepreneurial spirit with the Ability to create clarity from ambiguity
Experience translating tactical details into sound bites for senior management
Exceptionally strong communications and presentation skills
Strongly results oriented with demonstrable track record of success
