Perform regular and special cleaning of assigned areas using manual tools and power equipment such as buffers, vacuums and auto scrubbers. Understand and practice all university safety procedures, particularly as they relate to equipment operation and chemical use. Participate in the university's trash/recycling program.
Minimum Qualifications Consistent work history; experience performing a variety of cleaning tasks; ability to stand for extended periods of time; ability to operate buffers, scrubbers and waxers; ability to clean materials containing blood borne pathogens and ability to use strong chemicals to clean.
Special Requirements Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check. These are part-time wage positions working an average of 29 hours per week over the course of a calendar year with no benefits.
