About the Position: MSI will be looking for new employees to join MSI’s CES program based out of Goldsboro, North Carolina. The Electrical Engineer will be assisting the Air Force with Management and professional services; Studies, analyses, and evaluations; and Engineering and technical expertise. The Electrical Engineerwill be supporting CES which is responsible for providing responsive, flexible full-spectrum installation engineering services for 2 Wing missions [the 4th Fighter Wing (4 FW) and the 916th Air Refueling Wing (916 ARW)]. The employee will provide program development for military construction, and project design and construction for restoration, modernization, and sustainment of base-owned facilities

The Electrical Engineers Needed Skills:
Knowledge of Facility and Building systems- Roofing, Building Envelope, Interior Construction, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing), Building automation, etc. Ability to read, understand and interpret drawings, contract specifications and other technical documents used in mechanical, construction and general contracting
Experience applying DOD Unified Facilities Criteria & Uniform Facilities Guide Specifications to complex facility construction projects
Proficiency in developing cost estimates using PACES, MCASESII, RS Means and other approved DOD cost estimating tools
Experience in Developing independent, local market corrected cost estimates, meeting accuracy standards specified in the DOD Unified Facilities Criteria, for Architect/Engineer and construction services throughout the planning, design, construction, and repair of facilities and infrastructure worldwide on projects ranging from $500,000 - $750,000,000 in scope
Experience in Developing independent cost estimates of the cost of construction contract change orders ranging in magnitude from $10,000 to $50,000,000
Work experience on Autodesk AutoCAD 2013, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience on BIM submittals, CAD drawings, old blueprints, and facility/project specifications
Prepare cost estimates for product manufacturing, construction projects, or services to aid management in bidding on or determining price of product or service. May specialize according to particular service performed or type of product manufactured
Performing quality assurance oversight of Architect/Engineer and construction contractor technical work products
Providing technical training, lessons learned, and best practices to technical and project management staff
Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to work well with diverse personalities including project managers, customers, clients, subcontractors, and staff

The Electrical Engineer Must Have:
Minimum 10 years’ experience within the last 20 years
Current active Registered Professional Engineer license is required
