As regional marketing and communications manager, you will be responsible for strengthening ABB Marine & Ports’ position as a leading supplier of electric, digital and connected solutions to the marine and ports industry in Americas. You will part of the local management team.
Develop and implement ABB Marine & Ports’ marketing and communications plans for Americas
Develop and manage budgets in line with the plans
Cooperate closely with sales, service, division and/or country communication to identify and implement marketing and communication activities
Drive the implementation and usage of Marketing Automation in close collaboration with sales. Support the sales and service management to optimize the use of Saleforce in the region.
Manage regional media relations in cooperation with global communication manager
Develop value propositions and key messages for identified key target groups
Create and/or localize global content and campaigns to reflect local needs, according to ABB brand guidelines. This include e.g. marketing material, videos and web pages
Manage regional conferences and customer events
Monitor and measure the effectiveness of marketing and communication initiatives in the region
Support the regional organization with questions/issues related to internal and external communications, including advice on development of content, speeches, power point, pictures
High School Diploma or GED and 9 years' combination experience in marketing and marketing communications
Associates' degree and 7 years' combination experience in marketing and marketing communications
Bachelors' degree and 5 years' combination experience in marketing and marketing communications
- A Master’s Degree in required field = Credit given for 2 years of work experience.
- A PhD/Doctorate in required field = Credit given for 3 years of work experience.
Bachelors' degree in marketing, marketing communications, business or a related field
5+ years’ international marketing and/or international marketing communications experience
Experience developing/implementing marketing and communication plans
Independent and a self-starter
Able to simultaneously manage multiple projects
Strong networker and communicator
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and fluent English, ideally native speaker
Flexible and able to travel when and as required
Experience in using Salesforce and Pardot/Marketing Automaton
Maritime industry knowledge is beneficial
