QuadPhoto, Quad/Graphics Photography Services Division is seeking a Freelance Photo/Video Coordinator to add to our studio dedicated to producing quality photo and video exclusively for Dick's Sporting Goods in Coraopolis, PA. The Photo/Video Coordinator will assist in-studio in the process for accepting, receiving, storing, tracking and returning customer/client merchandise; and will also work onsite at the client headquarters to support the planning and organization of photo and video shoots.

  • This is a fulltime, freelance opportunity.
Responsibilities include:
IN-STUDIO RESPONSIBILITIES (60% of time):
Shopping, picking-up, accepting and receiving in merchandise.
Barcoding, tracking and updating merchandise.
Organizing merchandise for photographer's sets.
Tracking, storing, and locating merchandise throughout the process.
Prepping, assembling, arranging merchandise and maintaining prop area merchandise.
Maintaining schedule for merchandise check-out and return based on shot logs and tracking sheets.
Returning, logging-out and shipping merchandise.
Assisting Stylists and Photographers when necessary.
Maintaining, managing and updating merchandise and merchandise records.
Providing process and workflow feedback and participating in Continuous Improvement, improving workflows, processes and incorporating new technologies and procedures.

CLIENT HEADQUARTER RESPONSIBILITIES (40% of time):
Support a staff of producers and team leads by coordinating and organizing production paperwork for crew staffing, equipment, vendors, travel and crew accommodations, and equipment purchases and rentals across multiple simultaneous photo and video projects
Develop and maintain production schedules, call sheets, and project requirements across all in-house and outsourced digital media projects
Assist with all elements of daily operations and production needs including expense reports, wrap books, call sheets and timecards
Responsible for various daily office activities as directed
Work with partner studio to facilitate the transfer of assets between offices
Assist the team to ensure digital/physical files are properly updated, and task lists are maintained
Maintain a professional demeanor with the studio, staff, and crew at all times
Qualifications
Previous experience in a high-end, high-volume, photo/video production team environment supporting multiple projects
Basic understanding of production photography workflows and scheduling
Ability to work as a team member in a creative group environment
Ability to research quickly and efficiently providing in-depth information
Exceptional organizational skills, resourcefulness, detail-oriented mindset and the ability to think ahead
Able to work independently while handling a multitude of tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines
Ability to adapt to change quickly and smoothly, swiftly putting out fires
Impeccable verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with capacity to develop and manage strong relationships with internal and external partners in a highly collaborative team environment
Proficiency with Apple/Macintosh computer platform/software.
Solid understanding of Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Acrobat software
Bachelor’s in communications, marketing, advertising, digital video, or related field
