Responsible for the management and operations of the architectural, construction and client services staff. Provides direction and supervision regarding the establishment and evaluation of the agency's policies for design, construction evaluation and/or construction inspection of all IHDA multifamily developments. In addition to supervising all aspects of architectural plan review through construction inspection, payout processing to construction completion and initial occupancy. This individual would be responsible for managing the closing process post project approval for all agency debt and equity sources.
REQUIREMENT FOR APPLICANTS
College degree in architecture, engineering or construction management. Requires familiarity with green development, smart design and multifamily housing construction. Experience with construction pay-outs and title work is a plus. Excellent written and oral presentation skills. Should have at least seven years' experience in architecture plan review, construction management or project supervision and at least five years in supervisory or management roles. Requires knowledge of mortgage lending practices and real estate development, government funding operations and understanding of complex legal and financial documents related to funding and program operations.
