Job Summary

The Mobile Application Developer position will play a key role in the design, development and maintenance of GSP's cross platform mobile solutions. The Mobile Application Developer position will be instrumental in helping GSP make a successful transition to a Xamarin/C#/.NET development environment as well as implement new cloud based mobile tools.

Primary Responsibilities:
Design, program, document, debug, test, deploy, support and sustain mobile web-service driven apps (iPhone, iPad, Android), interface and libraries.
Maintain solid sense of modern web and user experience design, graphics, layout, transitions and feedback on mobile platforms.
Work closely with a team of engineers and creative professionals in a highly collaborative environment on app design, integration with SaaS solutions and interface evolution.
Collaborate closely with Product and UX teams to design high quality user experiences.
Ensure quality through unit and functional test implementation and execution.
Contribute to architectural design, automated testing, continuous integration and build management.
Develop prototypes to demonstrate the merits of a proposed solution.
Participate in and contribute to all phases of the SDLC, including working with a Test Automation team to develop end-to-end testing of the solutions being developed.
Work effectively within a team environment to implement projects in a timely manner.
Participate in design reviews, code reviews and functional demos.

Education and Experience:
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
4+ years of development experience with C#
4+ years hands-on experience developing apps for iOS and /or Android
Minimum of 2 years of experience developing with Xamarin
Must have experience working in an Agile environment

Knowledge of Xamarin Native and Xamarin Forms is required
Must have advanced skill in consuming Web Services (REST, JSON, XML).
Knowledge of SQL Server 2012, 2014 or 2016.
Must have demonstrated experience with GitHub and source code management in a team environment.
Advanced knowledge of UX design best practices as they pertain to Mobile apps.
Familiarity with all things Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Mobile store life cycle knowledge including store policies, publishing, provisioning, app store and deployments.
UI knowledge -experience building graphically intensive UIs, managing multiple view hierarchies, optimizing UI transition and performance on mobile devices.
Knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), generating information and tracking status using proprietary software.
