As the Marketing Director of X-Category (Women’s, Training and Young Athletes) you will be responsible for overseeing the brand, as well as delivering category growth in Nike's North Central Territory. You'll provide strategic leadership for the category and develop briefs and marketing plans for the category's seasonal brand initiatives. You'll be asked to deliver plans that are led primarily by the Women’s category (90%), while also participating in cross-category planning for YA and Training. You will be the voice of Nike Women and make sure her point-of-view is represented by the brand. You'll develop and maintain effective relationships across the matrix and work closely with a diverse cross-functional team, leading them in the planning and execution of seasonal marketing plans. You will also be the main liaison with the NA Women’s category making sure the Territory POV is well represented and the consumer’s voice is heard. You'll work closely with the Integrated North Central team to maximize the commercial impact of your seasonal plans. You will be accountable for driving key KPIs to improve and impact Nike's brand and Women’s category strength in North Central. You'll drive the Integrated Marketing process for Women’s and lead cross-functional teams that enable timely and effective implementation of the season game-plan process. You'll participate in business planning, budgeting and functional discussions and initiatives across departments/3-city offense of Chicago, Toronto and DALLAS, and lead and foster external Agency relationships. You'll utilize internal partnerships and leverage external relationships that enhance the team's effectiveness. You will be the lead people manager for your team where you will be expected to develop and grow your team in an exhilarating, high energy, high performing environment with people who have a passion for sports, passion for the Brand and creating meaningful connections between consumers and the Nike brand.

Experience in one of Nike's key categories, with an understanding of the Women’s category consumer
Ability to lead a cross-functional team toward a vision through effective collaboration within a matrix environment
Ability to establish an independent view, effectively collaborate in decision-making and work in a team environment
Ability to drive a virtual offense given the 3-city North Central approach

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a business related discipline
8+ years of progressively responsible Brand marketing experience
2 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree
Experience managing direct reports with a background in fostering continuous learning, empowerment, and involvement
Knowledge of the local market and industry
